Calendar of Events for the 2017 - 2018 Season

Hi everyone here is the schedule so far that LeRoy, Shane and I have tentatively arranged for the Barry's Kids 2017-2018 league season.

     Please note that we are planning two fundraisers this year with the first on October 7, 2017* (date changed to October 28,2017) at Ten Spot and the second on March 24 2018 at 1:00 pm . One fundraiser in the fall and one in the spring.

     The season sign up day is Saturday Sept. 9 10 am with the league starting Saturday Sept. 16. We are having three lunches at the moose with the first one Saturday Sept. 23. 12 noon. The second one will be our Christmas/Holiday luncheon Saturday December 9 at 12 noon at the moose.

   We will have another one Saturday Feb. 10 2018 after league again at 12 noon.

    The end of the year awards will be Saturday May 5 starting at 11:00 am at the moose! Please mark your calendars for these events.                      

    Dave can you please post these on our website and help us start the get the word out on our sign up date and start of the league season?

  Shane I hope these dates will work and some if not all may be pretty hard to reschedule but we will make sure if you can't be there to do the best to change them since we need you there and I know because of guard camp you may have some conflicts.

   We are looking to get a donation from the moose this Monday night (tomorrow night) to order new bowling balls to help start the season and that we only have 3-4 left from the order we put in two-three years ago.

   As soon as we get our annual solicitation license back from Pat Senger and the state I will send everyone our annual statement of donations and expenditures for the 2016-2017 fiscal year.

  From what I originally estimated we took in almost $11,000 again this year and it is probably one if not the most ever donations received in one year!!!

  That is awesome.

Thanks again and I praise God for all of you and now that I'm retired I hope to get more involved again to our organization! 🙂
